KashLog keeps your financial data on your device. KashLog does not sell your personal information or upload your expenses, income, budgets, notes, receipt scan results, categories, currencies, or CSV data to KashLog servers.

Data stored in the app

Expenses, income, categories, budgets, notes, currencies, receipt scan results, manual exchange rates, and imported CSV data stay on your device.

iCloud sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your KashLog data is synced through your Apple iCloud account using Apple infrastructure. KashLog does not operate a separate server for this data.

App metrics

KashLog may collect limited app metrics to understand basic app usage and reliability. These metrics include a random installation ID, app version, event name, event timestamp, and server receipt timestamp.

Metrics do not include your expenses, income, budgets, notes, receipt contents, categories, currencies, CSV data, location, or OCR output.

Location, OCR, Siri Shortcuts, and CSV

Location-based currency suggestions, receipt OCR, Siri Shortcuts, and CSV import/export are used only to provide app functionality. KashLog does not collect this information.
